After my last day on duty at the lookout, we returned to base early and went for a farewell meal at a restaurant, where I discovered that South Africa is not the best place to eat pizza! Back at base I caught on camera this lovely sunset over Saldanha Bay.
I made this blog to share photos from two Earthwatch projects on which I was a team member in 2002 and 2007. I've also added pictures from an 'expedition' to the Qinling Mountains of China to look for giant pandas in 2011, other occasional wildlife encounters, and holiday photos that just won't fit onto my website now.
