Stags in velvet
Another visit to Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal Deer Park in North Yorkshire. This time the red deer stags were in velvet.

Blue-spotted badger
This weekend I've been helping out with badger monitoring at Wytham Woods in Oxfordshire. The badgers are caught in traps baited with peanuts, so individuals that have been caught once are marked with a harmless dye to identify them should they be tempted by the peanuts a second time.
