This afternoon I went for a walk in the Botanical Gardens near my hotel, and encountered an eastern grey squirrel - introduced to South Africa as well as Britain, and just as bold as the ones back home.
I made this blog to share photos from two Earthwatch projects on which I was a team member in 2002 and 2007. I've also added pictures from an 'expedition' to the Qinling Mountains of China to look for giant pandas in 2011, other occasional wildlife encounters, and holiday photos that just won't fit onto my website now.
