It was a quiet day at the lookout today, but I went for a walk around the base in the evening and encountered this yellow mongoose, searching for ground-nesting birds whose eggs it could steal.
I made this blog to share photos from two Earthwatch projects on which I was a team member in 2002 and 2007. I've also added pictures from an 'expedition' to the Qinling Mountains of China to look for giant pandas in 2011, other occasional wildlife encounters, and holiday photos that just won't fit onto my website now.
