Today I was back on lookout duty, and this time my companion was a rock lizard. Like the hyraxes, they also need to bask in the sunshine to get warm after the chilly winter nights.I made this blog to share photos from two Earthwatch projects on which I was a team member in 2002 and 2007. I've also added pictures from an 'expedition' to the Qinling Mountains of China to look for giant pandas in 2011, other occasional wildlife encounters, and holiday photos that just won't fit onto my website now.
