Tree bumblebees first arrived in the south of the UK in 2001 and have been expanding their range northwards. Now I have tree bees nesting in my garden in East Yorkshire!
I made this blog to share photos from two Earthwatch projects on which I was a team member in 2002 and 2007. I've also added pictures from an 'expedition' to the Qinling Mountains of China to look for giant pandas in 2011, other occasional wildlife encounters, and holiday photos that just won't fit onto my website now.
