Today the blue skies returned, as you can see from this photo of a rather funky weather vane in Lunenburg where we spent our free day. This coastal town is a World Heritage Site, but I was more interested in the fact that it offers whale-watching trips.
I made this blog to share photos from two Earthwatch projects on which I was a team member in 2002 and 2007. I've also added pictures from an 'expedition' to the Qinling Mountains of China to look for giant pandas in 2011, other occasional wildlife encounters, and holiday photos that just won't fit onto my website now.
